Devlog Week 3
Hello and Welcome to this weeks Devlog!
During the past week we all worked on finishing our Documents like the Tech Document, the Game Design Document and the artbible after getting feedback last week. This week was mainly administration work.
Programmers:
The programmers finished the tech doc and started adding programming backlog tasks on hacknplan. Besides that we continued working on the gameprototypes, finishing our gameplay prototype and trying another approach for the camera.
This week we added multiple things to the gameplay prototype, things like the ability to kill the other player, cut off individual limbs and then the head when the head is exposed. We added an indication of where the weakspots are using red boxes, and made sure the level resets when the game is over.
For the camera we tried something else, last week we made a camera that follows your character around by position. This week we tried out a new camera that looks at the players instead of following the players by position.
Artists:
As for the Artists we mainly worked on finishing the artbible. We also added artist tasks to the backlog, writing out everything that needs to be done during production plus time estimates. We also helped finishing the tech document
